Meet Our Illustrator

We’ve been busy developing some amazing products and we cannot wait to share them with you! Inspired by our favorite continent and second home, they’re adorned with illustrations taken from original artwork by our very own Philomena.

Creative at her core, both in the visual and performing arts, you’ll find her beautiful, Africa-inspired botanical and animal illustrations on our amenity bags, scarves, wrapping paper, notebooks, and more. While she’s already a world traveler, her middle name Nxai (San for “a place without trees”) highlights a special connection to Southern Africa: a place that not only inspires and informs her artistic practice, but also serves as her second home.
