  • Booking with BJA means you will have a consultation with one of the owners of the company who has decades of experience and has on the ground contacts by your side every step of the way. You’ll get personalized recommendations for lodging, cultural and historical experiences, dining, and more that just don’t come with booking directly.

  • Yes, we request a non-refundable consult fee depending upon the complexity of your itinerary. This is because we create every itinerary from scratch, customized for you — and this takes time! We pride ourselves in not having generic itineraries.

  • 1) Hop on a phone or Zoom call to capture all of the details about the trip you’d like to take, and to understand your budget and more about you!
    2) Collect the non-refundable consultation fee
    3) Request a quote from our partners in the destinations you’d like to visit
    4) Provide you with an outline of your itinerary with estimated trip costs
    5) Fine tune the itinerary until it’s perfect!
    6) Collect a non-refundable trip deposit (usually 20-25% of the total trip cost)
    7) Send you required paperwork to fill out electronically
    8) Send quotes for trip insurance
    9) Assist in providing a quote for airline tickets if needed (note: BJA is not a ticket agent but we recommend a 3rd party who you will pay direct) 
    10) Provide a detailed, beautiful itinerary as well as Safari Portal travel app instructions
    11) Be there for you every step of the way!

  • While we have an extraordinary track record with our trips, it’s our job to give you the best advice and that includes always having travel insurance before you say bon voyage. If something unexpected were to happen, either before or during your trip, we would want to make sure you are covered.

  • While we prefer to assist you with booking your whole trip to ensure plans run smoothly, we can discuss booking a part of your trip.

  • We do not break out costs. This is because we are often not provided with costs itemized from our partners because they receive bulk costing. We provide you with a total trip cost and share what is included in that. We will work with you to find ways to adjust your trip cost if necessary.
