BJ Adventures was founded in 1989 by Betsy Younkins and Jean Zunkel, who had foreign assignments in South Africa in the early 70s. They wanted to share their love and appreciation of this beautiful country, as well as have a good excuse to go back! What better way to do that than start a travel business. Although we plan trips all over the world today, Southern Africa still holds a special place in our hearts.
